The Chanrion hut is located at the end of the Mauvoisin dam, in the heart of the Haut Val de Bagnes, an isolated and unspoilt region. Perched at an altitude of 2462 metres, it blends harmoniously into the mountain landscape without damaging it.

Owned by the Geneva section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC), this historic building was completely renovated in 2021, with a new annex added. The hut now offers comfortable dormitories, modern sanitary facilities and a bright dining room.

The new architecture’s large picture windows make the outside the focal point of the interior design, creating a chic eco-cabin offering simple, contemporary comfort.

In spring, the hut welcomes skiers of all abilities, with slopes to suit every skill and desire.

When the snow melts to make way for lush green pastures, the hut becomes accessible to experienced mountaineers, while welcoming families and mountain bikers in search of fresh air and peace and quiet.
